What I loved about it in the beginning was the very wide or the very tall format that you had by using both the left and the right sides of the spread. Then as I gained confidence I graduated to the bigger Moleskine and I haven’t gone back to the little one for a long time. Until today. The other thing that I love about these books is the quality of the paper. They hold a lot of wash without warping and there is a velvety dryness about the paper that makes it a pleasure to paint on. Not to smooth and not too bumpy. Just right.

Glass is lovely. I like the small moleskin too.
Thanks Valerie.
Hi Shari,
Everyday I look forward to seeing what you’ve done and I’m more and more impressed with each sketch.
Kelly, thanks so much. I’m so glad you enjoy the sketches. Every day I look forward to doing them!!
Splendid. I can’t get over your precision in not slopping paint into the reflective highlights on such a small format.
Thanks John. The Moleskine paper dries so fast that it’s easy to just paint a few highlights, let them dry, then paint a few more. Just takes patience more than anything.
