Mess o’ boots

Every winter I have the same problem in my front hallway. Everyone in the house has boots for deep snow, boots for cold days, boots for warmer days and even a few pair of shoes just in case there is a thaw.

Couldn’t bear to see your drawing blog empty so quickly want to say that i love your clean, simple and pure lines which remind me of blind contour lines. Nice arrangement too
in spite of your overflow of boots and shoes . Glad to know I’m not alone with the same
    problem in my vestibule!

    • You are so thoughtful Mary. Don’t worry, I don’t get offended if no one comments.
And I’m glad to see that I am not the only one with vestibule problems.

I love doing linework like this and it is almost a blind contour drawing except that I did look at the page occasionally. The boots on the right are especially badly drawn but I couldn’t correct in pen.

The entrance is a mess but the sketch is wonderful. Just paper and a pen or whatever is available. Wabi Sabi

    • People know all my secrets now Linda. My garden is a mess, my entrance is a mess, but I keep on sketching.
Thanks for recommending to speak at a Lakeshore Artists meeting. I had a great time and they are a wonderful group. I am a new member but Gail did not realize that when she contacted me.
