HI SHARI, SAW YOUR WRITE UP IN THE GAZETTE YESTERDAY, AND I JUST LOVE THOSE BEAUTIFUL WATER COLORS YOU PAINTED, ALWAYS WANTED TO PAINT MYSELF.

KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK, CIAO RITA
This is the first time I’ve had a chance to get to your website (though I saved the Gazette article & snipped the “coordinates” that day!
Watercolour isn’t the most forgiving medium – your sketches (and the paintings in THIS section) are magnificent.

Hello Shari,
I saw the article on you in the Gazette May 26th. Very impressive. Love the looseness of your line art. I’m just replying now because we were away on vacation in Tuscany and just got back.
I managed to do a dozen watercolors while there. Oil is my preferred medium but watercolor is a close second. Would love to meet you one day. We’re close neighbors in Pointe-Claire.
Would love to be your friend on facebook.
Again. Your drawings and watercolors are just delightful to see.
Hi Helmut,
Of course I know your name from being in the graphic design business for so many years in Montreal. Your paintings are beautiful and how lucky you are to be doing this full-time. I am jealous! I would love to meet you and see your watercolours from Tuscany. I just returned from giving a workshop in Paris. I’ll friend you on Facebook and then we can get together in person.
Shari, I also mentioned your name yesterday.to Tex Dawson, who is an ex architect and current artist. We were painting on location in Hudson. You would like Tex’s drawings.
Helmut
I had kept the Gazette article and just found it as I wanted to reply to it. I bought one of your aquarelles many, many years ago when you had an exibition at St-Gaétan’s church. My mother Jackie was the weaver at the same time. I just loved what you did then and love it even more now. Diane Paterson.
Hi there! I have two of your paintings. The one I had bought is a house on a lake the colours are blue and green. The other one my mom had and it’s three big flower containers with I think could be impatiants pink, white and purple. They are on a white plank of wood resting on a construction brick. My mom past away three years ago this month and always cherished it. Now I have the pleasure of it hanging on my wall. I to live in the West Island. I wish I could paint I even tried a class with Hemut Gerth some 30 years ago… I would love to see your work. Sincerly, Diane.
Your paintings are amazing, especially the Blue Garden – very talented w/your light and shadows. Congratulations for such an impressive portfolio. Mary
I love the simplicity and the graphicdesigner touch in the composition of your paintings. Really lovely and inspiring work! Blue Garden is my favourite. Have a nice week

Gasp!!! You have updated this page! And with a great selection of paintings. Wait a second…
Just as I thought… still haven’t updated the Workshop page or added the FAQ page… that would have been too much to hope for… wouldn’t want to rush these things, would we? : )
I am surprised you didn’t chastise me for not putting sizes and titles on those paintings. That is coming soon, as is the workshop page. Just finalizing the details for this summer.
Shari, your paintings are so amazing. I’ll join USK Barcelona. As I saw you are an instructor, I was so glad that I was able to book your workshop. Jutta
