Full disclosure:  sometimes I crop parts of my sketches before I post them because I’m not happy with the full image. Today I painted with my friend Marc Holmes, and since he was a witness, I have to fess up to this one. This is not the full painting. There was a jar of beach glass on the left side that became quite muddy so I cropped it out before posting it.  I will blame my fractured wrist for this muddiness, while I still can. Marc, on the other hand, did a beautiful portrait that I’m sure you will see soon.

Yes, that looks remarkably like a cropped painting.
    Is the portrait of you?

You do well to keep painting so well when you have such an injury. I hope it heals soon. 🙂

It’s a challenge to paint with a fractured wrist but you did well !

You get a lot of mileage out of a minimal palette and a fractured wrist, Shari. Beautiful.
