Yikes, I was already in the new year!

If you just received today’s post, you can see I am in vacation mode. The title “Last sketches of 2019” should have read “Last sketches of 2018”! And I haven’t even had any champagne yet. But I’m sure you knew what I meant anyway.

I have the opposite problem – I am inclined to still be writing the previous year until about half way through January! Don’t worry…. I think everyone does it around this time.
Happy New Year to you and thank you so much for your really inspiring posts!

    • Thank you Marylin. I will probably write 2018 for a while too but for some reason 2019 was already in my head when I wrote the title. I had a good laugh when I saw it published with the wrong date. Happy New Year to you too.

Enjoy your vacay, but do consider coming back for a workshop. I would be happy to facilitate if you ever want to do that.

    • Actually, next year I will be ready to teach here. I will be back for the month of December. That would be wonderful. I would love to teach here. How can I reach you to discuss? Perhaps send me your email address. And have a happy new year Catherine!

    • Hello Catherine and Happy New Year! I live in Cape Coral and I have been a fan of Shari’s for a very long time. About a year ago I was part of the original organizers of Ft. Myers Urban Sketchers group, which is still unofficial but been getting together and sketching since last November. I would be interested in attending a workshop and also I can give more information about the group, contact info etc. I know a few of the members are fans of Shari as well. Also some of the members belong to other art groups and they can help spread the word and get people interested in the workshop. If you would like to contact me directly to exchange more info my email is katole7@gmail.com.

You’re not the only one who made a mistake like that. Last week I sent Christmas wishes to my neighbour for 1919.
