What an amazing day today with my group at Tra Que vegetable village, looking out over the fields and watching the farmers at work. Thanks @annasartfoodculture for taking us to this very special place.

First workshop demo here in Hoi An with @annasartfoodculture

I sat in the shade of our Hoi An hotel entrance to do this one. At least six buses came and left in front of me, blocking my view each time. But I persisted!

A few warm up sketches in Hoi An, Vietnam, as I prepare for my workshop with @annasartfoodculture . Trying to get over the jet lag and adjust to the heat and humidity. There’s something to draw everywhere, but best to get out early before the crowds and the heat of the day.

When I bought these cut Kalanchoe stems in the grocery store a few weeks ago, the man in back of me in the line told me that these would last for at least 3 weeks. I think it’s been longer than that and they are showing no signs of fading. I cut the stems and change the water every so often.

Railway crossing in Hudson, Quebec, painted from my car studio today. Wet snow was falling so I had to periodically start the car to get the wipers going.
