It was so hard to draw that massive head — deep, deep set eyes, broken nose like a hawk and a mouth like a slash. I’ll admit I was relieved when I had a view of his back for this pose.
Beautiful sketch, Shari. I liked the foreshortening. So, how long was this pose?
Thanks. This was a 15 minute sketch, done in my Moleskine. I tried using other watercolour paper but I’m so used to that paper now that I am only comfortable painting on that. I think I am a bit addicted to those sketchbooks.
