The corner in winter
Posted: January 27, 2014 Filed under: Uncategorized 7 CommentsThis is a larger version of the sketch I did a few days ago of a corner in Lachine. I painted this last year as well but this time I had to add in a figure. Someone is always turning around that corner and that is part of what makes it such an interesting place to sketch.

I am always I awe of how your shadows make your paintings come alive. I used to get annoyed when drawing or photographing and people would appear. Thanks for making me see their interest value!

Thanks so much Jayne.
Wonderful Shari — I love the intensity of your colours plus the intricacy of your shadows — well done!
Thanks Jayne. I tried a few new colours for shadow in this one.
I meant Jane!!
Shari, they’re all outstanding!
Thanks Helmut. I’m trying to have some new work for the spring show.
