Alice on corduroy

Awwwwww….that’s so peaceful of Alice, such a happy and content girl 🙂 i love the way you described her with the negatives 🙂 It inspires me to sketch our Boston Terrier! Mary Alice
She is always a happy and content girl in the evening. After a long walk! Of course you have to draw your dog too Mary.
Another lovely composition and perfect example of how the darks, however small, give the drawing depth and substance, leading the eye across Alice’s at rest. The corduroy is rendered just right! It’s really a lovely drawing Shari.
Thanks Alison! The corduroy is a new bed. She shredded the previous one a few weeks ago while we were out. I guess we were gone too long!
Very nice sketching !
Thanks!
Love to follow your sketches ! Never remember that I also have two models like Alice 😉 At the moment they are resting from the morning walk 😀
Thanks for following. Have you seen David Hockney’s dog paintings? You might like them.
A lovely sketch/memory that is going to being up a few tears a long time from now, I believe. She looks like the nicest of dogs. your drawing truly touches me.
Thanks so much Lee. She is a wonderful dog. I’m glad you like her too.
Loved your comments. Alice looks like a cutie too.
I love this set of comments too. And Alice is a wonderful dog.
