Prone to laziness
Posted: December 23, 2016 Filed under: Uncategorized 17 CommentsIt’s the start of a holiday week and I didn’t feel much like going out to sketch in my car. Luckily I found members of my family who didn’t feel like doing much either. Sketched in pencil in a Stillman & Birn Zeta softcover book, 8″ x 5″. Still my favourite book for pencil drawings.

Well, nothing nicer than a contour drawing, especially one by a master’s hand. Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah Shari!
Thanks so much Wayne. I hope you have a wonderful holiday with all of your gang. My BC boy is home, so that’s really nice. In fact, that’s him in the drawing. You can see how jet lagged he is… or it all those reunions with friends? Not sure!!
Hmm… looks suspiciously like the average Canadian teenager. I have recently had close contact with a similar lump on the couch so I’m familiar with it. Hope you and all your loved ones have a wonderful Christmas.
Thanks so much Christine. Yes, this is a Canadian boy, although he is a few years out of teenagehood. Still a lump on the couch, though.
That pose looks soooooo familiar! The other is teens/adults with their cell phones in hand. Enjoy!
You too Joan. Have a wonderful holiday.
You’re really talented. Nice sketches!
Thanks so much.
That could be my son!
They all look that way at some point, don’t they Rob? Hope you have a wonderful holiday season.
Happy napping. I, too, just decided that I did not need to go shopping and it is fine to stay inside and warm . . . may be nap, too. Happy Holidays.
It is fine to stay inside, isn’t it? Happy holidays to you and yours Anne.
Merry Christmas
Looks like our couch. Enjoy your family for the holidays!
Hooray, the boys are home! Happy Chanukah, Jacques
Sofa napping, being lazy, staying warm and cozy! Exactly what the holidays are all about. :0)
Hope you are enjoying yours immensely. Thank you for all the beautiful artwork and inspiration you share all year long.
I didn’t see this till yesterday so my comment is late . No boys in my family tho this looks familiar on many levels. Wonderful drawing.
