Alice watches football

A long walk in the woods with the four people she loves best in the world, followed by an exciting football game on tv. And them some turkey leftovers with her dinner.
It was the best kind of day for me too. Besides the long walk and having the family all together, I received a new sketchbook and some new pens from Japan so I could draw while everyone else watched football.

What brand of sketchbook and pens from Japan did you get?
Hi Maureen, The pens and sketchbook were a gift from my son. The sketchbook is from Gekkoso. It’s a smooth paper, spiral bound book. I think it’s great for pencil or ink work but not so much for watercolour. The pens are a Pilot Juice Up 03 and Sakura Pigma Micron 05. Both are beautiful and quite fine, which is what I love. My son knows me well.

These pens are special because they were a gift from my son who went to Japan in November.

I’ve gotten to the point that I don’t even pretend to be interested in the football games. lol I’d rather sketch, but Jerry isn’t always a willing model. Maybe I need to get an “Alice.”
