The same but different
Posted: February 14, 2012 Filed under: Uncategorized 5 CommentsThese silos have been in my sketches before. But today there was something different about the painting experience. It was warm enough outside to open the car window. I heard birds. And there was a smell of cow manure from the cattle barn nearby.
A woman and her mother walked by the car, stopped to talk and had a look at what I was doing. And we all agreed that we may be emerging from the dark days of winter.

I love your use of colors…
Thanks Eleonore!
Lovely. I know that first feeling of a hint of spring somewhere in the future. Maybe it’s the light.
Yes, the light. Can’t wait for the longer days and the first real signs of spring. On the other hand this was a scarily warm winter and that makes me wonder about the future of our climate in Canada and I guess everywhere else too.
Lookin’ good! You’re a snow shadow expert!
