Museo Casa de Tostado

Today was a travel day so not much time to sketch. I had to get up at 3:30 a.m. to catch my flights to Santo Domingo and didn’t arrive until 5 p.m. at the hotel. But of course the first thing I had to do was find my way to the Centro cultural de Espana to check in at the symposium and pick up my tote bag of sketch books! This little drawing is done in the linen covered book in the photo below. More tomorrow after a night of sleep!

Good to see that even after 12+ hours in transit, you are still keen to sketch… and that the Wi-Fi is working. Keep them coming.

So nice of you to take the time to do a sketch and take a photo of your sketchbooks, for all your faithful followers after such a long and tiring day! I really like the old carved design of the
architecture above the window…what style is that?
Did the Symposium provide you with the drawing books? Is the paper as good as your
    discoveries here?

    • Hi Mary. We were given a lot of sketchbooks and even some watercolours. But I find I am doing a lot more drawing than painting. It is all incredibly stimulating!
