Shari,
This is beautiful. I am jealous, you seem to be able to sketch and paint everyday!
That was the idea when I started this blog back in October Gail. I just wanted to sketch for a few minutes every day. I am able to do more in the summer when I am not teaching but once school starts in a few weeks there will be fewer paintings and more quick sketches. But I will still stick to one a day, if I can!
Love how you painted the water.
Thanks Valerie.
serene
I feel calmer just looking at this
You are pretty calm to begin with John…
Nice depth of field, it takes your eye and thoughts to the far shore, beautiful.
Thanks Angie.
Absolutely stunning! Such wet water and great reflections.
But, don’t you want to comment on how you over-worked the trees? Not that I think you ever do… it’s just one of those “broken record” things that you like to say. : )
Thanks Ross. I guess you noticed that I was struggling with foliage this summer. But I think these came out ok, for once.
No, I didn’t notice you struggling at all… however, I did notice you kept under-rating your work… but I knew, when you did that, you were really just fishing for compliments. : )
So true.
Beautiful: esp. the water and foilage!
Thanks René.
You have perfectly captured the essence of a typical Canadian summer lake scene.
Thanks Alison!
