After the rain
Posted: September 22, 2012 Filed under: Uncategorized 4 CommentsWe had some much-needed rain in Montreal today. It was a good thing for the lawns and for me because I had a lot of things to catch up in my house. I only got out to sketch a quick one after it stopped.
Hee hee… I nipped out to do one also. Also a street! With hydro poles à la Blaukopf. But I like yours better. 🙂

Definitely a sketch, very simple but a really good one. I like the one point perspective and the road disappearing over the crest… almost asking a question… and I like the leaves washed together in the gutter… and the ominous sky in the distance.
Yup, this one is a sketch for sure. Ominous is a good word for the sky because a few minutes later it was pouring again.
