Beach people
Posted: July 27, 2013 Filed under: Uncategorized 4 CommentsEvery year when I go to the beach I remember that this is the best life drawing class ever. The lighting is good, there’s lots of skin, people are of all shapes and sizes and they even hold their poses for a long time.
Lovely captures here. The guy is at the beach and what is he doing? Eyeing the pretty girls? No. Watching the sea gulls? Nyet? Swimming? No way! He’s focused on his i-phone. Or maybe he’s setting up to play some beach music? Lovely treatment of the woman’s torso.
He was on that thing all day! And there were even topless girls on the beach. And not all of them were ancient!

Loose and fast, yet the anatomy is still there; this is how people come alive in sketches. Well done!
