Storefronts
Posted: September 19, 2013 Filed under: Uncategorized 8 CommentsWhen I am pressed for time I always seem to end up at this spot in Pointe Claire where the curve in the road gives me an interesting angle on the storefronts and utility poles. This is the first time I have treated it in pencil.
Hi Shari :: I have just bought a Cretacolor pencil! Yeah! Can’t wait to try it out. Very nice drawing as your contrasts are very distinctive and make this a living sketch -)

Love what you can do with as coil and a piece of paper. The angle of the roof does he trick opposing the horizontals and verticals of the street, wires and poles. Nice repetition too – poles, dormers, windows…

Yes, I love those repeating elements. Luckily in this scene it was all set up for me.
