You have made my daily sketching a true pleasure. May your holiday season be wonderful and your 2014 be filled with many days of drawing and painting.

It is you, my Dear, who inspires us. Happy New Year. And, by the way, this upload, like so many others, has been a watercolor lesson.
This was done using wet-in-wet technique. Hopefully I will do a step-by-step of this technique sometime soon.

Shari, Can’t tell you how VERY much I look forward to your DAILY posting!! You are AMAZING – I know it takes TIME, such a precious commodity… I so admire your determination and drive to paint/post every day.
I could comment on every piece – you can make a cupboard of canned goods look great! – as well as an instructive value sketch. But I had to comment on this one, because I made a very similar painting back in ’94, I think, when I was visiting Western NY and Buffalo area. I don’t know about you, but I LOVE painting snow scenes!!
