Zigzag at the market
Posted: May 8, 2014 Filed under: Uncategorized 16 CommentsIt was so exciting to see the flowers in the outdoor markets today that I jumped right into sketching them. Jumped so quickly in fact that I didn’t think much about composition. When I got home I realized that I had created a giant “Z” across my page.

FABULOUS!
I was getting our home Springed:)
I did that for the rest of the day Monique! Sketch first, clean later.
Great, someone with a flower shop called Zinnia should contact you…… It would be perfect!
If you find it send them my way Elaine.
You did it. I tried to sketcth a similar scene once for an oil painting and I found it hard to do.
Yours shows the real air space and the perspective.
Great sketch .
Will see you monday in Lachine.
I’m looking forward to meeting you Andre. Sounds like a nice group.
Still make a great compositon
Thanks!
Funny how it’s easier to see that later or in a photo. I love it though, looks like it’s meant to be.
Thank goodness we’re all getting some spring!
It’s about time, isn’t it? Spring is definitely several weeks late!
SNAP! Brill all those containers in a row – can’t wait for some of on my balcony. All those lovely diminishing circles…oh so clever.
Oh, I got my SNAP back. Phew!!
Absolutely magnificent. You aid me everyday in how I create my art, muchos gracias mon ami! Jacques
Merci mon ami. Finally we have some colour here. Hope you are well!!
“Z” is for Zinnia. I feel a floral alphabet coming on… 🙂 Seriously though, you once again have captured the exuberance of the blooms. Lovely!!
Awesome !
