Dangerous marine life

Miami Beach is dotted with 25 lifeguard towers, each one painted in different colours, some shaped like lighthouses or stencilled in stars and stripes. I would have liked to sketch them all! This one, at 46th St. was flying the green and purple warning flags. Green for a low hazard day, meaning calm conditions in the water. Purple for dangerous marine life. Sharks? Killer whales? Stingrays? Jellyfish, as it turns out.
