Scrap
Posted: December 13, 2012 Filed under: Uncategorized 8 CommentsI had no paper to draw today but I did have a Pilot pen. Fortunately someone took pity on me and donated a little scrap so I could draw this view of downtown Montreal. If you look closely you can see the punch holes in the paper.

I always enjoy your line work Shari…although I was looking forward to the painting from the Ville St. Pierre value sketch.
That will come John. I have full teaching days on Thursday and Friday so hopefully I will get to the painting next week when school is done.
hard to imagine what could possibly keep you from painting next week Shari!
That’s funny John. Well even with holiday stuff, not having to go to school gives me many more hours in a day.
An interesting and economical drawing… possibly taking the frugal approach to the use of paper a bit far today? In Australia, I am familiar with the guys that come up to you in the street and ask for coffee money… so, in Montreal, do ladies like you come up and ask “Hey buddy, got a piece of paper? I need to do a sketch.” : )
That’s about right. That’s what we do!
I am new to your sketchbook, nice work, keep it up!
Thanks! Hope you keep on visiting.
