Cases de l’Onyar

These houses along the Onyar River in Girona date from the Middle Ages. I had seen them in a photo and had planned to sketch them but never imagined that something this picturesque would have hardly any vantage points. A cafe or a restaurant in a strategic spot would have been ideal but I stood on a bridge to draw this and then sat on the bridge to paint it.

Nice… so the beautiful sounds of Spanish guitars have been replaced by vehicle noises and exhaust fumes?

Such bright, sun drenched, happy colours on these houses Shari, bringing joy 🙂
Out of curiosity, is that the beach in the bottom left corner triangle?

Lovely. The blue of the balcony windows and their tan sun shades make this sparkle for me. They drew my eye in to see and appreciate other details.
