Fin de saison
Posted: November 13, 2013 Filed under: Uncategorized 16 CommentsThe wind outside was bitter today but the little mall near my school was pretty warm and I found a bench near the shoe shop. I tried my Sharpie ultra fine in my handbook sketchbook — a good combo because the paper is absorbent and the Sharpie loves that. If you pause occasionally while drawing it creates those great little blobs that only Sharpies do.

So you just slipped into a warm seat, pulled out your sketchbook and drew away! Did they know you or did you ask permission first. This is such a wonderful drawing. I have to look hard to see a blob!
Thanks Ruth. Actually I was sitting on a bench in the mall so I managed not to be noticed. My favorite way to draw.
Always enjoy your art…!
Thanks Glenda!
An Artist’s eye you have!
Or a shopper’s eye…
Now that’s a fairly “loose” approach to perspective. So did you buy any shoes?
Loose is good in drawing right?
I didn’t buy any shoes. In fact I have save a lot of money since I started sketching since I sketch instead of shop. Actually, forget that idea. I’ve spent more money on art supplies these last few years than I ever would on shoes.
Your priorities are sound… who needs shoes anyway? : )
LOVE LOVE LOVE . . . all you need is love and I do love this. Jacques
Merci mon ami!
What an inspiration you are Sheri! Thank you. I am sewing madly these days but want to get back to sketching as soon as my show is over. Love the daily email of your sketches.
Christine
