Alice at the window
Posted: September 11, 2014 Filed under: Uncategorized 16 CommentsAlice is just as bad as the students I sometimes draw. She can’t sit still. I was drawing her having an afternoon nap when suddenly there was a gust of wind outside and she popped up to check out what made the sound. Sketched in a Handbook journal sketchbook with a Muji mechanical pencil on a windy day in Montreal.
Hello Shari
nice, very design!
I like the mechanical pencils.
I love your aquarelas, they are very clean, I don’t know how to do so clean (is maybe my swiss way)
but your drowings are wonderfull! love them!
Thanks so much Renata!
Lovely!!!
Thanks Anders!
I love Alice! Where can you buy decent (not too hard) mechanical pen?
Hi Sue,
I found this mechanical pencil in New York at Muji but there are so many types. I suggest going to an art store and finding one that has a grip that feels good in your hand. That’s what I usually do.

Thanks, Shari, it’s the lead that gets me down. I’ll try Avenue des Arts.
Just saw today’s post. You sure do get around!
Sue
I use a B lead if that’s any help.
Love her little elbow sticking up! Joan
