Red dumpster

Sometimes Alice stops to sniff under the red dumpster, and she gets especially excited when there are squirrels hiding under there. I like the red dumpster for different reasons. It’s rusty. It’s a little bit wonky. And it’s a great focal point in front of the drab school facade, positioned as it is between all of those verticals. Sketched in my Etchr Perfect Sketchbook on a rainy day in late October.

Wondering….were washes added on the spot or later, when you got home? Very nice, fresh and clean color washes.
Bernadette, I did this all on the spot. And I could have kept on going but my son called because he needed his car that was in. Probably worked out for the best that I stopped because I probably would have overworked it.

This shows you can find “beauty” in even a dumpster. I don’t think I’ve seen one with a slanted roof. Good color.
Judy, this is a beauty of a dumpster! And it’s been in the middle of the parking lot for years. I guess the people at the school find it beautiful too.

Interesting urban scene, the tree and 2 telephone poles almost look like a mini forest. Its amazing how you can find little oasises even in the most urban environment.
