Hunter and Sunburn
Posted: July 2, 2013 Filed under: Uncategorized 6 CommentsA grey fog has settled over Montreal and left me wondering where the sun went. Turns out it’s the smoke from forest fires in northern Quebec drifting down over our city. I sketched this a few days ago when the light was much the same. And Hunter and Sunburn? Hunter is the dark boat at the left and Sunburn is the yellow one.

Poor Sunburn – no stick at this late time of the season. She needs a mariner to rig, balance and test her.
Even with my limited maritime knowledge I noticed that John. Maybe you should offer your services!
Not a chance Shari. My heart belongs to Chinook. She is clean, fast and chafes at her lines like a racehorse. Nimble in light air and stiff in heavy seas. We’ve been slapped around by weather and waves, but she’s never let me down.
You are a loyal captain John. Happy sailing!
They make a lovely couple. 😉
I thought so! Thanks Jen!
